Apprenticeships are open from age 16, once you have finished Year 11 (S4 in Scotland).

About the role

After training you will:

  • Processing commission/bonus data and calculations, adhering to the set KPI’s
  • Assisting with the processing of payroll, employee and timesheet data
  • Assisting the team with the tracking of bank transactions
  • Respond/resolving queries in line with the set SLAs
  • Assisting the wider team with ad hoc tasks
  • Using excel and issuing basic calculation breakdowns
  • Working with data reports
  • Supporting on projects
  • Undertaking a Level 3 Payroll Administrator apprenticeship

Working week

Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (1 hour for lunch). Friday, 8.30am to 4.00pm.

Training & development

Your apprenticeship will be delivered by National Upskill through monthly online workshops with your allocated tutor over 18 months at your work location.

While a permanent role is not guaranteed at the end of the programme, there may be opportunities to progress into permanent employment depending on performance, business needs and available vacancies.
