About the role

Working on a variety of civil engineering projects, you'll carry out engineering designs and assessments alongside our team. With the support of your project manager, you'll plan and prioritise your workload, contribute to solving technical problems, carry out engineering designs and assessments, prepare design reports and drawings, collaborate with Engineers across many disciplines, be responsible for delivering your own work to a high standard, and attend site visits and client meetings as required.

Requirements

A commitment to complete a five-year degree while working. A Levels, AAA grades, to include Mathematics and a Physical Science. Applicants without A level Mathematics may be subject to passing a Maths assessment. BTEC Diploma grade D*D*, with an A grade A level Mathematics, or subject to passing a Maths assessment. BTEC Extended Diploma grade DDD, including two Mathematics units, 'Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems' and 'Further Engineering Mathematics', or subject to passing a Maths assessment. Candidates who have not completed their studies can apply on the basis of predicted grades, but the final selection will be subject to achieving the required grades.

Training & development

You'll pursue a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering with the University of Warwick, which involves participating in in-person classes on campus, encompassing lectures and seminars on diverse subjects, including structural and geotechnical engineering. Alongside your studies, you'll engage in office-based learning and work towards gaining Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers. We'll support you the entire way, pay for your qualification and will introduce you to a mentor to coach and guide you through your development journey.

Gaining Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers and earning a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Warwick.
