About the role
You’ll work with a varied portfolio of private clients, including individuals, families, trusts and international clients. Your work will include preparing tax returns, researching tax legislation, supporting tax compliance and helping develop tailored tax planning advice. As your experience grows, you may also gain exposure to areas such as inheritance tax, trusts, estates, succession planning and cross-border tax matters.
Working week
Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Our flexible working policy gives you greater choice over how you structure your day. With core hours of 10.00am - 2.00pm, you can start earlier or finish later to suit your needs, alongside working from home up to two days a week.
Skills
Training & development
You’ll train through a combination of structured study, practical experience and support from experienced colleagues. You’ll learn by working on real client matters while studying towards the ATT Level 5 and CTA Level 7 qualifications. MHA will provide full study support, including tuition, exam fees, study materials and dedicated study leave, alongside regular mentoring and on-the-job guidance.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship can lead to a long-term career in Private Client Tax at MHA.
