About the role

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you'll support a range of business functions across Amazon's corporate teams. Your work may involve scheduling and planning, preparing documents, organising processes, analysing information, or helping teams stay on track with their priorities. You'll collaborate with colleagues across departments, learning how to manage multiple tasks efficiently while building strong communication and organisational skills. No two placements are the same - apprentices could join teams such as HR, Finance, Legal, Operations Support, or other corporate functions, depending on business need.

Requirements

Be 18 years old or over before the start date. Have the right to live and work in England for the full duration of the programme. Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years. Not be registered on another government-funded course ending August 2026 or later. Have at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4–9 (A–C) including Maths and English. Not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level. If you completed qualifications outside the UK, you will need a Statement of Comparability (UK ENIC).

Training & development

Mix of on-the-job training, online study, and mentoring. You'll learn how to use IT systems and software to complete administrative tasks effectively, prepare accurate documents and reports, support teams by organising calendars and meetings, create and maintain records and spreadsheets, communicate professionally with stakeholders, prioritise tasks and manage deadlines, identify opportunities to streamline processes, and apply project management principles.
