About the role
Indirect Taxes are taxes charged on everyday transactional activities. The Indirect Tax Advisory team helps clients manage their VAT and Indirect Tax positions – whether advising on multi-million-pound transactions, VAT on everyday retail products, or helping clients adopt tech to report VAT correctly. You will gain understanding of client products, supply chains and processes/systems to enable you to advise them effectively. Work will range from compliance support, providing technical advice, support in disputes, advising on large transactions and other areas.
Requirements
You'll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum of 104 UCAS points (if gained after 2017 – or 260 if before) from your top 3 A-Levels. 10 core skills identified as essential to all Early Careers roles at Deloitte.
Working week
Hybrid system with combination of office and home working. Client-facing roles may require attendance at client sites on certain days.

Training & development
Immersed in client work, working alongside other team members, learning practical skills. Internal training and support from coaches, people leaders, and your team. Professional qualification support with pathways including Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and Charted Tax Adviser (CTA) as well as other specialist routes focused on tax or technical expertise such as Tax Customs qualifications.
