About the role
The successful candidate will join our Telford Engineering team and will be provided with the opportunity to complete an Engineering Degree on a part-time basis. The Trainee Engineer will develop engineering skills to support the manufacturing processes from raw material to end product, Application Engineering and Systems Engineering. The Telford location is part of the Industrial division of Howmet Fastening Systems, supplying a range industrial markets across EMEA, including renewable energy, transportation, civil engineering, building and construction, and agriculture.
Requirements
A levels or equivalent in Science/Mathematics or Engineering biased subjects. Strong mechanical interest & aptitude. Excellent standard of numeracy & literacy. Self-motivated with the desire to develop their career. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Mechanical aptitude with logical approach to problem solving. Team player with the ability to work with people at various levels within the organisation. Flexible approach with capacity to adapt to advancing environment. Excellent time keeping & attendance.
