Help clients grow, manage wealth and achieve ambitions through trusted relationships. From day one, you'll work with Relationship Managers and specialist teams to support Commercial Banking clients. You'll help build a clear picture of each client's business, goals and challenges, then see how HSBC brings the right people together to respond. You could help prepare client presentations, reports and credit papers, support strategic reviews and pitches, and carry out financial analysis and risk assessments on portfolios and transactions. You'll also work with colleagues across Legal, Credit and Risk to understand how we deliver tailored solutions responsibly.

You'll build a strong foundation in commercial banking through structured training, four placements and a degree apprenticeship that blends study with real experience. Early on, you'll learn how HSBC supports business clients, how key banking products work, and how regulation shapes the way we serve customers. As you progress, you'll deepen your understanding of client needs, risk, credit, and relationship-led banking.
