About WYCOMBE FOOD HUB CIC

Wycombe Food Hub is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in High Wycombe  to address food insecurity while preventing good food and other useful resources from going to waste. Working with supermarkets, wholesalers and local businesses, it collects edible surplus food and redistributes it through an open-access social supermarket, affordable food baskets, a free community fridge, and partnerships with local charities and community groups.

Alongside food redistribution, it operates Bobkins Bazaar, which sells pre-loved clothing and household items at affordable prices. It is also developing a broader Community Resilience Hub, with aspirations including a Repair Hub alongside financial wellbeing, early-help services, community activities and partner-led programmes.

The organisation has an established volunteer network across food collection, driving, warehousing, retail and community activities. Its work brings together waste reduction, household affordability and community support.

We are now strengthening our people, systems, communications and fundraising capacity to support the next stage of growth, and this role will make an important contribution to that development.
