Job Description: Responsibilities include : · Support the delivery of construction projects from site set-up through to completion. · Assist the Site Management team in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, and maintaining programme targets. · Promote and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality on site. · Assist with the procurement and management of materials, plant, and site logistics. · Build effective working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team. · Support project close-out activities, including snagging, testing and commissioning, and client handover. This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the Trainee Site Manager and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals. Requirements: Technical Competencies Essential  · Currently studying, or intending to undertake, a degree-level qualification in a construction-related discipline and able to meet, or have already met, the entry requirements of the relevant training provider.  · Demonstrate strong communication skills.  · Strong IT skills.  · Right to work in the UK.  · Full UK Driving Licence.  · Willing to work throughout Scotland  Desirable:  · An appreciation of Health & Safety practices.  · Ability to work independently or as part of a team.  · Previous exposure to the construction industry, whether through a trade background, work experience, or site-based role, would be beneficial.  · Able to demonstrate problem solving.
