About the role

- Preparing accounts and producing sets of financial statements
- Studying towards professional qualification (AAT Level 4 / ACA Level 7)
Working week
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Training & development
You’ll train through a combination of practical on-the-job experience, structured study and support from experienced colleagues. From day one, you’ll work on real audit and accounts assignments, developing your skills by working alongside your team and learning directly from experienced professionals.
Your training will include areas such as audit planning, analytical reviews, preparing accounts, producing financial statements and drafting client communications. You’ll also spend time working with different clients, both in MHA offices and at client sites, helping you build your technical knowledge, confidence and understanding of how different businesses operate.
Alongside your practical experience, you’ll study towards recognised professional qualifications, progressing through AAT Level 4 and ACA Level 7. MHA will provide a full study support package, including tuition, exam fees, study materials and dedicated study leave.
Throughout the programme, you’ll receive regular guidance, feedback and mentoring to support your development and help you progress towards becoming a qualified accounting professional.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship can lead to a long-term career in Audit at MHA. As your experience and qualifications grow, you can progress from Audit Junior into more senior roles, taking on greater responsibility for client work, supporting junior colleagues and managing sections of audits, with opportunities to continue developing towards management and beyond.
