As a TfL building surveyor, you'll be part of the world renowned TfL Engineering. You'll gain the unique experience of working as a building surveyor on essential infrastructure designed to keep London moving. You'll assist in a wide variety of construction projects in the TfL portfolio, from routine maintenance to major station redevelopments. TfL has a wide variety of properties ranging from historic listed buildings to major transport interchanges and depots, any one of which you may be asked to survey and give reasoned advice to those who are responsible for their upkeep.

6-year development programme made up of up to 12 placement rotations. The aim is to equip you with the range of skills and experience you need for your successful career. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll be a Chartered Building Surveyor. It's TfL's intention to bring the right candidate up to the level of Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Assoc RICS).
