About the role
Chartered Management Degree Apprentice – Create Impact Through Leadership at Amazon. Join Amazon as a Chartered Management Degree Apprentice and turn your leadership potential into real-world impact while earning a fully funded degree. You'll take on diverse responsibilities developing your ability to make strategic decisions, collaborate effectively, and motivate teams to deliver results. You'll work towards becoming a professional manager capable of handling complexity and delivering impact at both strategic and operational levels - mastering project management, financial acumen, innovation, and risk management.
Requirements
Be a UK national, a non-UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status in the UK. Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship. Have the right to live and work in England for the entire duration of the programme until March 2029. Be resident in the UK for the entire duration of the programme. Not be registered on another UK government-funded course ending August 2026 or later. Be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building. Have at least 2 years' supervisory experience (essential), including experience overseeing projects, operations, budgets, or teams with accountability for delivery, outcomes, and performance. Must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.

During Your Apprenticeship, You'll Learn How To: Lead and supervise teams, overseeing day-to-day operations. Support and develop team members through training, coaching, and mentoring. Manage projects to achieve defined objectives and timelines. Analyse business data to inform decisions and drive improvement. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business goals. Identify and manage risks to ensure successful delivery. Foster an inclusive, ethical, and high-performing work environment. You'll combine your academic learning with practical management experience, dedicating 20% of your time to degree learning.
Future prospects
You'll develop skills in leadership, communication, strategic planning, and business improvement - becoming a confident and capable manager ready to make a positive impact. Successful apprentices may progress into management roles across Amazon's operations network or other business functions, continuing to grow their leadership and business expertise within Amazon.
