Apprentice Brewer
About the role
- Assisting in the production of wort (unfermented beer)
- Testing and monitoring of fermenting beer
- Packaging beer
- Cleaning of brewery casks, kegs, and vessels
- Assisting where required with our taproom and deliveries
Working week
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
Skills
Training & development
Brewer Level 4.
80% of the work and training will occur at the brewery, with another 20% of training taking place off site.
10 days of training will take place at Brewlab in Sunderland, utilising their brewery and laboratory equipment. Additional contact will be maintained with a trainer to guide the apprentice in their studies.
Once qualified, our apprentice would become one of our full-time brewing team, taking a greater role in brewery operations and recipe formulation.
