In this role, you will assist Project Quantity Surveyors in preparation of interim and final accounts, manage day to day commercial and contract activities., sub-contract procurement ensuring maximum value for money, assist Project Quantity Surveyors in sub-contract valuations and final accounts, learn the working practices of NEC 3/4 and JCT Conditions of Contract, gathering information for preparation of compensation events/variations (depending on form of contract). You will undertake site measures when required and work closely with the site management teams and be responsible for assisting the Project Quantity Surveyors in cost planning and commercial management throughout the life-cycle of a project from inception to post-completion.

On completion of your apprenticeship you will gain a Level 4 in Quantity Surveying Techician.

Working week

Monday- Friday 07:30- 17:00

The program focuses on developing practical skills, technical knowledge, and professional behaviours necessary for a quantity surveying technician role.

  • To move from an apprentice to an Assistant QS/Project QS and further (opportunity dependant) for the right candidate
