As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an Assistant Transport Planner to join our Central Scotland based team (Falkirk). The position is office based, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with the occasional later evening or overnight stay away for project site visits and public engagement events. Part time applicants could also be considered for this position. The role is suited to someone with a career interest in Town Planning, Civil Engineering or Architecture, who is highly motivated, proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude who enjoys meeting challenges, working on their own as well as being an effective collaborator. The preferred candidate will be hardworking and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills and a clean and tidy appearance. They should be comfortable working in an office environment as part of a small team with a willingness to learn and develop and be able to multi-task. As a micro business, the candidate must be outcome focused and able to keep up with a fast paced, rapidly changing project portfolio. Our business operates as a consultancy model with service provided in exchange for fee, delivery of tasks to a budget is a key influencing factor to our daily routine.
