About the role
Join our Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) team as a Level 4 Actuarial Technician Apprentice. Work alongside top thought leaders on multiple client projects using actuarial and statistical modelling techniques to analyse data and produce insightful results. You'll present analysis internally and to clients, collaborate globally on real-world actuarial problems, and learn open-source tools and WTW's proprietary insurance technology solutions across reserving, capital, pricing, data science, process transformation, risk and regulatory, climate, exposure management, underwriting and claims analytics.
Requirements
A-Level qualified including A-level Mathematics at grade A or above with at least 136 UCAS points across three A levels (e.g., AAB or A*AC). Highly numerate with mathematical and analytical mind. Clear and confident communicator. Personable, approachable and motivated to work as part of a supportive team. Interest in learning new ideas. Disciplined and determined. Computer literate with Excel understanding. Comfortable using AI tools.
Working week
Expected to come into office at least four days a week. Based in London or Reigate office.

Training & development
On-the-job training with structured early-career training and access to extensive in-house training resources. Support from line manager, buddy and coach from government-approved training provider. Hands-on experience with actuarial and statistical modelling, open-source tools, and WTW's proprietary insurance technology solutions.
Future prospects
Successfully complete the apprenticeship and progress to either grow in current role or progress within the Insurance Consulting team on Level 7 Apprenticeship scheme.
