Not-for Profit Audit is about giving people confidence in the numbers behind organisations that exist to do good. As an auditor, you'll look closely at the financial records of charities and not for profit organisations to check they're accurate and complete. You'll get exposure to a wide range of clients, from charities to higher education institutions and social housing providers, building the insight to understand how not for profit organisations really operate. You'll work with real data sets, selecting samples, gathering evidence from clients, and testing it to assess the real-world impact of any errors on the business. You'll apply professional judgement to assess the policies and estimates clients adopt and analyse financial statements and review internal controls.
