Apprentice Contract Manager
About the role
As an Apprentice Contract Manager, you will support the successful delivery of commercial tiling and stonework projects from planning through to completion. Working alongside experienced managers, you will learn how construction projects are organised, monitored and delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing project drawings, specifications and programmes

Assisting with project planning before works commence

Attending pre-start, project and site meetings

Supporting the coordination of labour and subcontractors

Visiting sites to monitor progress and quality

Recording site progress using photographs and written updates

Identifying and reporting site issues, delays and access restrictions
-
Assisting with organising materials and deliveries

Monitoring progress against project programmes

Supporting quality inspections and snagging activities

Assisting with health and safety requirements on site.

Maintaining accurate project records and documentation

Supporting communication with site teams, subcontractors and clients.

Assisting with client inspections and project handovers

Learning about variations, project costs and commercial processes

Required qualifications
Training & development
As part of your Apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a nationally recognised Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor Apprenticeship standard via our training partner, Learning Skills Partnership. Your Apprenticeship typically takes 21 months to complete and is fully supported through a combination of regular online lessons, e-learning materials, and access to their team of experts for 1-2-1 advice and support.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to continue developing within the business and progress within construction project and contract management.
Things to consider
This role involves travelling to different project sites across London, therefore a full UK driving licence is required.
