As an apprentice, you'll support Senior Arboriculture and Landscape Specialists with tree surveys, pest and disease management, design reviews, arboricultural impact assessments, planting programmes, contractor management, and strategic implementation. You'll gain experience managing a large tree stock across large-scale infrastructure projects, risk management, rain gardens, and wildflower verge expansion. Work closely with colleagues across Safety, Health and Environment, Asset Operations, GIS, Planning, Policy, Engineering, and Customer Services.

4-year development programme with primary placement in Arboriculture and Landscape team supplemented with various placement rotations across the business. Includes BSc Arboriculture and Urban Forestry Honours degree delivered online. Each apprentice's journey is unique with experience in tree surveys, pest management, design work, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Transport for London operates the capital's transport system. The Arboriculture and Landscape Team are subject matter experts in green infrastructure, providing specialist support across all modes of the TfL network as part of achieving the Mayor's Transport Strategy vision to be a strong, green heartbeat for London.
