About the role

Chartered Management Degree Apprentice role at Amazon where you'll take on a supervisory role from day one, gaining hands-on experience leading teams, managing operations, and making decisions that drive results. You'll combine academic learning with practical management experience in operational sites including fulfilment centres, delivery stations, and corporate support teams. You'll develop skills in leadership, communication, strategic planning, and business improvement while working towards becoming a professional manager capable of handling complexity and delivering impact at both strategic and operational levels.

Requirements

Be a UK national, non-UK national with right to work in UK, or EU national with settled status; Have lived in UK, EEA country, or British Overseas Territory for 3+ years prior to September 2026; Right to live and work in England for entire duration until March 2029; Resident in UK for entire duration; Not registered on another UK government-funded course ending August 2026 or later; Be 18 years or older before entering Amazon building; Have at least 5 GCSEs grade C (grade 4) or above including Maths and English; Have 3 A Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent); Have at least 2 years' supervisory experience including overseeing projects, operations, budgets, or teams with accountability for delivery, outcomes, and performance; If qualifications obtained outside UK, require Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC; Must NOT already have qualification in similar subject at same or higher level than this apprenticeship

Training & development

During your apprenticeship you'll learn how to: Lead and supervise teams, overseeing day-to-day operations; Support and develop team members through training, coaching, and mentoring; Manage projects to achieve defined objectives and timelines; Analyse business data to inform decisions and drive improvement; Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships; Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business goals; Identify and manage risks to ensure successful delivery; Foster an inclusive, ethical, and high-performing work environment. You'll dedicate approximately 20% of your time to degree learning while balancing real-world application.

Things to consider

This is a 30-month fixed-term contract. You must have at least 2 years' supervisory experience. Direct line management is not required but you must demonstrate clear ownership and oversight beyond individual contribution. You'll be placed at a specific operational site but will collaborate with leaders across Amazon's network. Successful apprentices may progress into management roles across operations network or other business functions.
