As a Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprentice, you will support our Risk & Claims, Health & Safety and Quality Assurance teams to help maintain high standards of compliance across the business.

You will gain practical experience in areas including regulatory compliance, risk management, health and safety, quality assurance, investigations, auditing and corporate governance, whilst working towards your Regulatory Compliance Officer Level 4 apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk & Claims:

• Assist with the administration and monitoring of accidents, incidents and insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate risk, incident and claims records and databases.
• Support investigations into incidents and customer claims.
• Assist with preparing reports, statistics and trend analysis.
• Support the business in following relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including insurers, where required.

Health & Safety:

• Assist with health and safety inspections, audits and workplace risk assessments.
• Support accident and incident reporting processes.
• Monitor actions arising from audits, inspections and investigations.
• Maintain compliance records, legal registers and training documentation.
• Assist with preparing health and safety reports, statistics and communications.
• Support initiatives that promote health and safety awareness across the business.

Quality Assurance

• Assist with internal audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Support the management of corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintain quality records, policies and procedural documentation.
• Assist with reviewing audit findings and identifying areas for improvement.
• Produce KPI reports and compliance performance information.
• Support preparations for customer, certification and regulatory audits.
