This Apprenticeship role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a school environment while working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning. The Apprentice will work under the supervision of teachers and school staff to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and development. Duties include: Supporting teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Working with individuals and small groups, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Helping to prepare learning materials and maintain a stimulating classroom environment. Supporting literacy, numeracy and communication skills. Taking part in break times, extracurricular activities and school trips. Helping pupils with personal care needs (e.g. toileting, feeding and mobility) under supervision. Learning about and following key school policies, including safeguarding, confidentiality and behaviour management. Developing professional relationships with teachers, staff and pupils. This Apprenticeship is ideally suited to individuals who are enthusiastic about working in education and want to develop professional skills while working towards a recognised qualification.
