About the role

Join Lloyds Banking Group as an Actuarial Apprentice. You'll rotate through different teams, spending about 18 months in each placement. Work on pricing insurance, pensions and investments, calculating reserves and capital, using actuarial and statistical modelling techniques, designing actuarial models and software, analysing data trends, optimising investment strategies, and explaining complex concepts to stakeholders. You'll work with Excel/VBA, Python, R, Prophet and Power BI while developing your maths, problem-solving, data storytelling and communication skills.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old on 1st September 2026. GCSEs at grade 4-9 in both Maths and English (obtained). 3 A levels at grade BCC including a B in Maths. Must currently possess a valid Right to Work in the UK with visa end date extending beyond the five-year apprenticeship duration. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Working week

Hybrid working policy with minimum two days per week in office. Apprentices expected to be in office most days during initial settling-in period.

Study for Level 4 Actuarial Technician followed by degree-level programme with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).
