About the role
Join Deloitte's Audit BrightStart Higher Apprenticeship programme. You'll work on auditing company financial reports independently, ensuring accuracy for the public, investors and businesses. The role involves checking financial results, increasingly using AI and other technologies to automate processes. You'll work with major organisations across two core areas: Large & Complex Audit (listed companies, financial services, banks, insurers) or Portfolio Audit (emerging growth businesses, real estate funds, pension schemes). You'll develop real-world experience while being paid to learn and progress, with responsibility for developing people and managing teams.
Requirements
You'll need to have obtained or be studying towards at least 104 UCAS points (260 UCAS points pre-2017) for your A levels or equivalent. Essential core skills include communication, professional scepticism, decision-making, resilience, project management and leadership. You'll need to demonstrate ability to use digital tools, data analytics and emerging technologies.
Working week
Hybrid working with combination of office and home working. Client-facing roles may require attendance at client sites on certain days. Meetings mix of online and in-person. Final assessment and induction in-person.

Training & development
World-class training scheme including foundational knowledge for audits and assurance engagements. Study towards Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with ICAEW or ICAS depending on location.
