About the role
Chartered Management Degree Apprentice – Create Impact Through Leadership at Amazon. You'll take on diverse responsibilities that develop your ability to make strategic decisions, collaborate effectively, and motivate teams to deliver results. You'll work towards becoming a professional manager capable of handling complexity and delivering impact at both strategic and operational levels - mastering the intricacies of project management, financial acumen, innovation, and risk management. You'll take on a supervisory role from day one, gaining hands-on experience leading teams, managing operations, and making decisions that drive results. You'll combine your academic learning with practical management experience.
Requirements
Be a UK national, a non-UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status in the UK. Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship. Have the right to live and work in England for the entire duration until March 2029. Be resident in the UK for the entire duration. Not be registered on another UK government-funded course ending August 2026 or later. Be 18 years old or older. Have at least 2 years' supervisory experience (essential), including experience overseeing projects, operations, budgets, or teams. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.
Working week
Balancing 80% workplace experience with 20% degree learning, working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

During Your Apprenticeship, You'll Learn How To: Lead and supervise teams, overseeing day-to-day operations. Support and develop team members through training, coaching, and mentoring. Manage projects to achieve defined objectives and timelines. Analyse business data to inform decisions and drive improvement. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with business goals. Identify and manage risks to ensure successful delivery. Foster an inclusive, ethical, and high-performing work environment. You'll dedicate 20% of your time to degree learning while applying new management theories to solve everyday operational challenges.

Things to consider
This is a 30-month fixed-term contract. You must have at least 2 years' supervisory experience. If you have received educational qualifications outside of the UK, you will require a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC. Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility and offers are subject to funding approval.
