About the role
Join Howden's Human Resources Apprenticeship Programme as a permanent member of the HR team while completing an 18-month development programme. You'll gain broad experience across HR, support HR Advisory and Employee Services teams, assist with onboarding new joiners, develop HR knowledge through shadowing experienced advisors, build stakeholder communication skills, assist with HR data analysis and reporting, and maintain accurate employee records. No insurance experience needed.
Requirements
Must be a final year or recent school, sixth form or college leaver. Must have full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. Must have lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years. Must have achieved GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or above. Must not already hold a qualification that significantly overlaps with the Level 3 HR apprenticeship content. Must be comfortable commuting to Milton Keynes office at least 3 days per week and live within commutable distance.
Working week
Expected to work in the office at least 3 days per week. Full-time permanent position.

Training & development
18-month structured development programme including induction, broad HR experience across HR Advisory and Employee Services teams, shadowing of experienced HR Advisors, learning HR processes through onboarding support, developing communication skills with stakeholders, and gaining understanding of employee support throughout their careers.
Future prospects
Complete a fully funded Level 3 HR apprenticeship qualification and develop technical HR knowledge, professional skills and confidence to launch your career in Human Resources.
