About the role
As a Finance Apprentice at Amazon, you'll join as a Financial Analyst and rotate across three different placements over the course of your programme. These rotations expose you to a variety of finance disciplines including Accounting, Finance, and Tax. Your rotations could take place in teams across many areas of Amazon, such as AWS, Retail, Fresh, Prime Video, or other corporate and operational business lines. You'll support financial processes, analyse complex data, prepare reports, and collaborate with teams across the business.
Requirements
Be 18+ before the start date. Have the right to live and work in England for the programme duration. Have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years. Be a UK resident for the full duration. Not be registered on another government-funded course ending August 2026 or later. Hold 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English. Hold 3 A Levels at grades BBC or equivalent. Not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level.

Training & development
Mix of on-the-job training, online study, and mentoring. You'll learn how to apply core accounting principles to real business scenarios, assist with budgeting and financial forecasting, analyse data and produce accurate financial reports, work with financial software and databases, build strong working relationships with teams and stakeholders, understand regulatory and ethical considerations in accountancy, and support taxation activities.
Future prospects
Upon completion, you'll earn a CIMA Chartered Institute of Management Accountants accreditation. You could progress into roles such as Financial Analyst and with CIMA certification and real practical experience, you'll be positioned to grow into senior roles across corporate finance, commercial finance, tax, or analytics.

If you studied internationally, you must provide a UK ENIC Statement of Comparability. You cannot already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level.
