Apprenticeships are open from age 16, once you have finished Year 11 (S4 in Scotland).

About the role

Are you a creative person who can communicate effectively and is always focused on your audience? The role is audience focused and requires creativity, communication and project management skills. You will learn to plan and execute tactical and targeted marketing activities. This role involves researching, developing, promoting and distributing, products or services through effective channels to engage with a range of target audiences. You will possess strong communication skills as well as a keen eye for detail and you will have good organisation and planning skills.

Requirements

Be 18 years or over before the start date. Have the right to live and work in England. Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years. Be a resident of England for the entire duration of the programme. Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2026 or later. Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English. Must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.

Training & development

Blended and Work-based Learning including Face to Face workshops, digital learning and self-study. Core components include: Marketing Strategies, Audience Segmentation, Content Creation, Analytics and Insights, Digital Marketing Channels, Brand Management. Learning outcomes include conducting market research, developing comprehensive marketing campaigns, utilizing data analytics, managing social media profiles, creating email marketing campaigns, copywriting techniques, and using design software to create marketing assets.

Your journey as a Marketing Apprentice opens doors to diverse career prospects. You'll have the skills and knowledge to progress into various roles within the dynamic field of marketing such as: Marketing administrator, Marketing assistant, Marketing communications assistant, Marketing junior, Social media assistant. Successful apprentices may also choose to progress on to a higher level qualification or vocationally related programmes.
