About the role
A&O Shearman's Early Careers team invites students to an exclusive open day on 21 September 2026, from 18:00-21:00. This event provides insight into life at a global law firm, demystifies vacation scheme and training contract selection processes, and equips attendees with practical skills for standout applications. Attendees will explore different types of legal work (advisory, transactional, disputes), learn about cutting-edge matters, understand opportunities from day one, and participate in a networking session with lawyers across practice areas. Travel reimbursement of up to £150 is offered.
Requirements
AAB (136 UCAS points for international qualifications) or equivalent at A-Level, on track for or achieved 2:1 undergraduate degree, 7 GCSEs at grade 6 or above including Maths and English. Mitigating circumstances relating to disability that may have affected grades are considered.
