About the role

An opportunity to help children discover and develop their passion for the joy of sport. We offer a range of traditional and non traditional sports, to try and find a sport for every child.

Joining us, you will provide high-quality one-to-one coaching and group support, using your energy and enthusiasm to encourage children to take up the fun and enrichment of sport. This role is perfect if you are looking to grow your experience in a Primary School setting.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead, support and coordinate the delivery of sports coaching sessions in Primary Schools and Holiday Camps
  • Deliver sessions in a variety of school settings, ensuring full integration into class activities
  • Reinforce learning and behaviour routines while providing a fun and safe learning environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to both schools and parents

Training & development

  • The apprentice will receive full on the job training from the employer as well as 20% off the job training, they will also have access to a wraparound service from SCL
Future prospects
  • The apprentice can progress on to a teaching qualification if desired, once they have completed their apprenticeship

Things to consider

  • The apprentice will be working across the Luton and Bedfordshire Area
  • This is a physical role; you must already have a Level 2 in Coaching or a Level 3 qualification (such as a BTEC)
  • You must have a driving license and vehicle
