About the role
As an HR Apprentice, you'll be in a permanent role from day one - learning on the job, shaping the colleague experience, and studying for your Level 5 People Professional qualification. You'll spend your first year in one HR area, then switch it up in year two to see another side of the profession. Areas include: Reward, Talent, Learning, Organisational Change, and HR Partnering. You'll work on CV-boosting projects, real responsibility and make an actual difference to the working lives of thousands.
Requirements
Must be 18 years old by 1st September 2026 (Bristol and Leeds) or by end of February 2027 (Edinburgh). GCSEs at grade 4-9 in Maths and English, or Nat 5 at grades A-C. 3 A Levels at grade CCC or 4 Highers at CCCC (predicted grades acceptable). Must possess valid Right to Work in the UK with visa end date extending beyond the apprenticeship duration. No visa sponsorship available.
Working week
Hybrid working with minimum 2 days per week in office. Apprentices expected in office most days during initial settling-in period.

Training & development
Study for a Level 5 People Professional qualification (CIPD). Training and costs will be provided. You'll have a dedicated line manager invested in your learning, a supportive apprentice community, and opportunities to network across the HR division.
