About the role

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you'll support a range of business functions across Amazon's corporate teams. Your work may involve scheduling and planning, preparing documents, organising processes, analysing information, or helping teams stay on track with their priorities. You'll collaborate with colleagues across departments, learning how to manage multiple tasks efficiently while building strong communication and organisational skills. Every day brings new opportunities to improve processes, support business operations, and develop the confidence to take ownership of your work.

Requirements

Be 18 years old or over before the start date. Have the right to live and work in England for the full duration of the programme. Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years. Not be registered on another government-funded course ending August 2026 or later. Have at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4–9 (A–C) including Maths and English. Not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level.

Training & development

Mix of on-the-job training, online study, and mentoring. Apprentices will learn to use IT systems and software, prepare documents and reports, support team organisation, create and maintain records, communicate with stakeholders, prioritise tasks, identify process improvements, and apply project management principles.
Future prospects
Completing the Business Administrator apprenticeship opens the door to a wide range of career opportunities across Amazon and beyond. Many apprentices progress into roles such as Business Support Administrator, Office Coordinator, Executive Assistant, Operations Support Associate, or HR assistant.
